Corrosion-resistant material
Austenitic stainless steel (such as 1Cr18Ni9Ti) has low yield strength and is not suitable for manufacturing impeller with high speed. It is suitable for use as anti-corrosion impeller material for general low-speed fan. The Cr13 stainless steel is mainly used in the medium containing corrosive gas and smoke such as CO2, but stress corrosion should be paid attention to. The martensitic precipitation stainless steel is widely used in the fan impeller that requires strong corrosion resistance and high speed, such as 0Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb and FV520B.
Coating of impeller corrosion resistant layer
Amorphous nickel-phosphorus (Ni-P) alloy plating is a relatively successful method of surface anti-corrosion coating nowadays. Due to the ideal amorphous structure and alloy characteristics of the coating, grain boundary corrosion and grain boundary defects are avoided. The Ni-P alloy coating with hardness of HRC50-70 has strong corrosion resistance, wear resistance and corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and caustic soda.
The surface of fan impeller is coated with amorphous nickel-phosphorus (Ni-P) alloy as a good corrosion resistance process.
Spraying of impeller corrosion resistant layer
Corrosion resistance coating of fan impeller includes surface thermal spraying and plasma spraying. Spraying materials include nickel and nickel alloy wire and powder; Stainless steel wire, powder, etc. Nickel and nickel alloy spray coating has good corrosion resistance to hydrosulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, hydrogen cyanide, hydrofluoric acid, acetic acid, ferrous sulfate solution and dry gas, but has poor corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, potassium acetate, sulfuric acid and other media.
Austenitic stainless steel in stainless steel is widely used for thermal spraying, such as 1Cr18Ni9Ti, which has good processability and good corrosion resistance in most oxidizing media and some reducing media.
There are other methods for corrosion resistance of fan impeller, such as rubber anti-corrosion coating, epoxy resin coating, etc. There are many methods for wear and corrosion prevention of fan impeller.
