Superalloys used for aerospace fastener require a combination of mechanical strength, notch toughness, elevated temperature capability and corrosion/oxidation resistance.Inconel 625 is a kind of superalloy widely used in high-temperature fasteners. We are a professional supplier of Inconel 625 fasteners. Here are some information about Inconel 625.

Summary

Inconel 625 is a low carbon nickel chromium molybdenum niobium alloy with excellent corrosion resistance to various corrosion media. Due to low carbon content and stabilization heat treatment, there is no sensitization tendency even after holding at 650-900 ℃ for 50 hours. The supply state is softening annealing state, its application scope includes wet corrosion environment, and TÜ applied to pressure vessels with temperature of - 196~450 ℃ has been obtained; V certification. Other performance slightly adjusted for high temperature applications.

Mechanical properties can be improved by age hardening.

Characteristic

1. Excellent corrosion resistance to various corrosive media in oxidation and reduction environments

2. Excellent resistance to spot corrosion and crevice corrosion, and no stress corrosion cracking caused by chloride

3. Excellent corrosion resistance to inorganic acids, such as nitric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and mixed acid of sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid

4. Excellent corrosion resistance to various mixed inorganic acid solutions

5. When the temperature reaches 40 ℃, it can show good corrosion resistance in various concentrations of hydrochloric acid solution

6. Good workability and weldability, no post weld cracking sensitivity

7. Manufacturing certification of pressure vessels with wall temperature between - 196 ℃ and 450 ℃

8. Certified by NACE (MR-01-75) of the American Society of Corrosion Engineers, it meets the highest standard level VII for sour gas service

Application area

Softened and annealed low carbon alloys are widely used in the chemical process industry, and their good corrosion resistance and high strength enable them to be used as thinner structural components. The utility model can be applied to the occasions contacting with sea water and bearing high mechanical stress.

Typical application fields:

● Components of organic chemical process containing chlorides, especially where acidic chloride catalysts are used

● Boilers and bleachers for the pulp and paper industry

● Absorber, reheater, flue gas inlet baffle, fan (wet), agitator, deflector and flue in flue gas desulfurization system

● Used to manufacture equipment and components for sour gas service

● Acetic acid and acetic anhydride reaction generator

● Sulphuric acid condenser

Physical property

Density

Melting range

Melting temperature range 1290~1350 ℃ Inconel 625 heat treatment: to obtain the best characteristics, the first annealing temperature of 625 alloy is as high as 1200 ° F (649 ° C), and the second annealing temperature is more than 1200 ° F (649 ° C). The minimum standard annealing temperature is 1600 degrees Fahrenheit (871 degrees Celsius), which can replace the common temperature of 1200 degrees Fahrenheit (649 degrees Celsius). Although the commonly used temperature is above 1200 degrees Fahrenheit (649 degrees Celsius), when the material is required to have the best creep and fission properties at high temperatures, it is necessary to use a solution annealed at a minimum of 2000 degrees Fahrenheit (1093 degrees Celsius). Under the solution annealing condition, in order to further improve the sensitivity, it is sometimes required to re anneal at 1800 ° F (982 ° C) to keep it stable.

Welding

It is suitable for welding with any traditional welding process, such as tungsten inert gas welding, plasma arc welding, manual sub arc welding, metal inert gas welding and MIG welding.

The materials to be welded shall be solution treated to remove oxide scale, oil stain and various marks. The welding operation shall be carried out under the specified low heat input, and the interpass temperature shall not exceed 150 ℃. Heat treatment is no longer required before and after welding.
