Inconel 713C is a nickel based precipitation hardening equiaxed crystal cast high-temperature alloy, with Y-phase as the precipitation strengthening phase and operating temperature below 900 ℃. The alloy has high creep strength, cold and hot fatigue resistance, and oxidation resistance. The composition of the alloy is simple, does not contain cobalt, has a low density, and is usually used in the cast state. This alloy is suitable for producing hot end rotating and stationary precision castings working below 900 ℃, such as turbine blades, guide vanes, guides, and integrally cast turbines.
Superalloys are complex, high-performance alloys, which have a high tolerance of oxidising environments and high temperatures.Due to its complex and harsh working environment, the surface integrity of superalloys plays a very important role in the performance of superalloys. However, superalloys are typical difficult-to-machine materials. Their micro-strengthened items have high hardness and severe work hardening, and they have high shear stress resistance and low thermal conductivity. The cutting force and cutting temperature in the cutting area are high. The quality of the machined surface is low, and the tool damage is very serious. Under normal cutting conditions, the surface layer of superalloy will have problems such as excessive hardening layer, residual stress, white layer, black layer, and grain deformation layer.
Application Overview
Alloys have been widely used in the production of aviation, ground, and offshore gas turbine working blades, guide blades, and integral cast turbines, as well as integral cast turbine rotors and guides for aerospace missile engines, as well as turbocharged turbines and hot extrusion molds for diesel and gasoline engines. This alloy has been produced and practiced by multiple domestic manufacturers for a long time, demonstrating stable metallurgical quality and reliable performance.
Characteristics
The alloy adopts hot isostatic pressing treatment and subsequent heat treatment, which can improve the plasticity and fatigue resistance of the alloy, and can also restore the microstructure and service performance of parts that have undergone long-term degradation and performance degradation. When alloys are used under hot corrosion conditions for a long time, protective coatings must be applied. After long-term aging at 800 ℃, the alloy will precipitate a small amount of phases, but it has no significant effect on its properties.
