Inconel X750 has good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance below 980 ℃, high strength below 800 ℃, good relaxation resistance below 540 ℃, good formability and weldability, and excellent mechanical properties in low temperature environment.

Formability

1. The hot working temperature range is 980-1200 ℃, and the cooling method can be water quenching or rapid air cooling;

2. The heating temperature of steel ingot open forging can be 1200 ℃. In order to obtain good microstructure and properties of the final forging or bar, the subsequent forging heating temperature should be carried out at the corresponding lower temperature. The final forging temperature shall not be lower than 950 ℃. The alloy shall undergo solution treatment after severe forming process.

Welding technology

1. The alloy has good welding performance and can be used for various welding. However, it is difficult to carry out fusion welding for parts with large section, while the welding performance for small section parts and thin plates is better.

2. Welding must be carried out after annealing or solution treatment, and stress relief treatment shall be carried out after welding, using 980 ℃ for 0.5h or 900 ℃ for 2h. After aging treatment, the welded assembly can obtain the strength in the nearly complete heat treatment state.

Heat treatment process of parts 

1. The heat treatment of parts shall be carried out in a neutral or reducing atmosphere without sulfur to avoid vulcanization.

2. The parts shall avoid "hot cold" treatment between 870 and 650 ℃. For the parts with large section, in order to prevent cracks, the parts shall be cooled in air after solution treatment.

Cutting and grinding performance: the alloy can be machined under various conditions, and the machining performance is good under annealing or solution conditions.
