Inconel 600 alloy is a nickel chromium iron based solution strengthening alloy, which has good high-temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, excellent cold and hot working and welding properties, and satisfactory thermal strength and high plasticity below 700 ℃.

It is recommended to use alloy 600H for catalytic regenerators in petrochemical production above 700 ℃ to achieve a longer service life.

Inconel600 is suitable for welding with the same material or other metals using any traditional welding process, such as tungsten inert gas welding, plasma arc welding, manual sub arc welding, metal inert gas welding, and MIG welding. Pulse arc welding is the preferred solution. When manual arc welding is used, it is recommended to use the shielding gas mixed with (Ar+He+H2+CO2).
